The Challenge
The business education landscape had changed significantly since the last time the school updated its brand positioning, with an increased focus on online learning platforms. This needed to reflect the value of the LBS experience and remain true to a heritage built over the past 50 years
The Solution
As Digital Product Designer, I worked with LBS stakeholders and their agency for a year as the conduit for a blended, co-located team. We developed a more coherent, premium brand and digital experience for prospective students, alumni, staff and faculty. Our main objectives were to demonstrate the school’s point of difference, heritage and impact, and to create an online experience that would educate, inform and excite. We did a complete overhaul of the LBS website, rolling out the new brand identity at the same time. This required a completely bespoke design system, which was complemented by a rebuild of all marquee pages which were more engaging and had better functionality. The new identity and visual design language was used across social, print, digital, email and live events.
